Music Open Class Days: You are invited four our grades K through 8 open music class day, Monday October 21, 2019 from 8:25-2:25 PM. Join the Healey Run Club!
The Healey Run Club is a weekly run club for students in grades 4-8. Students of all abilities and experiences are welcome to participate. The goal of our running club is to introduce students to running as a healthy form of exercise, all within a fun, non-competitive, social environment. Students typically build their weekly mileage starting around 1/2 mile – 1 mile in the first few weeks, to running an optional 5K at the end of the season. Our running club partners with New York Road Runners Rising Strides (NYRR) for free incentives based on participation. Somerville PS Clothing Closet: Do you know anyone who needs a winter coat? The Clothing Closet, run by Somerville Public Schools, is open Thursdays from 12pm-3pm. Families can also talk directly to their School Liaisons about any urgent needs.
