Healey School Site Council: The Arthur D. Healey School Site Council vote will conduct its election the week of October 7, 2019. Each home with receive a multi-lingual ballot and a return envelope. Kindly return the ballot in the sealed envelope to your child’s teacher. Each ballot is numbered and assigned to the child, therefore we are accepting one vote per household. The first volunteer meeting for the 2020 Art Festival will be held Monday, October 7th, from 7-8pm in the library on the 3rd floor. Your kids should be getting a flyer in the backpacks soon.
First things first: Childcare and pizza will be provided.
We are hoping for a good turnout to get things started going to make this the best Art Festival yet! While the agenda is not set in stone yet, I believe there will be an overview of the importance of the festival in helping continue Healey’s tradition of off-site learning, as well as assigning the first tasks for the event. May 2020 seems a long way away now, but we know how fast the school year can fly by.
